Walkera Voyager 4 first integrated aerial 18x 4k zoom

Voyager 4 represents the pinnacle of Walkera’s 12 years of radio control aircraft design, a unique fusion of both aerodynamics and aerial video technology.  The goal of the Voyager 4 is to engineer an  integrated platform for various application meeting the needs of news broadcasting, search and rescue, aerial surveys, maritime air patrol, police work and environmental monitoring.  To achieve that, Walkera is the first to introduce 2.4 gHz and 4G remote control and video streaming, expanding the range as far as you can, as long as you have 4G mobile network.  Included is a precise  3-axis gimbal stabilization and a 18x optical zoom HD camera with a 10mm-1500mm wide angle-telescopic lens.

First Impression, the Voyager is an elegantly crafted model, overall appearance is slim and sleek in proportions with wings that are slightly higher than the fuselage in a H-configuration. The design and contouring body follows it’s predecessors Voyager 3, powered by a high-end autopilot PX4, that originated from the PIXHAWK Project.   A big emphasis has been made to simplify piloting, with spring loaded throttle stick for ease of holding altitude and a modern car ignition buttons for each change of function and secondary controls with Apple IOS App. The changes shows the direction of Walkera’s thinking and how they see the future of modern personal drones.

What separates the Voyager 4 apart from other quadcopter drones, is the design surrounding broadcasting and social media.  Live video is streamed via WIFI with the first 4G LTE drone application, an IOS application.  Production stations can have as many as six camera views from six Voyager 4 in the air at one time.  With 4G LTE, distribution of real-time video has never been easier; the media files can be shared over the two supported networks and multiple social media platforms.

Two cameras can be adapted to the Voyager 4, to meet your needs.  A 18x zoom camera with a 10mm-1500mm wide angle-telescopic lens option at 4k 30 FPS or a 4k fixed lens camera.

Complementing the Voyager 4 quadcopter drone is the newly FCC approved Devo F18, a professional 18 channels radio transmitter with a range of 1.5 km stock.  The onboard camera of the Voyager 4 can be controlled remotely from the radio joystick.
